We decided to divide the various statistics and facts into three categories:
Teen Pregnancy, Sexually-Transmitted Diseases, and Low-Birth-Weight Babies.
Keep in mind; some of these statistics fall into more than one category.
For example, a pregnant teenager may also have a sexually-transmitted
disease and may give birth to a baby with a low birth weight.
Understanding the details of the problem helps our community find solutions.
Facts can be interpreted in different ways. However, in any analysis, given
the caring and moral community in Lubbock, these numbers are too high.
